Uploading Learning Content and Managing the Content Library

In the previous chapter, you took ownership of your Learning Manager account by changing its visual appearance so it matches your brand identity. That was an important first step, but your LMS is still lacking two of its most critical ingredients: content and learners.

In this chapter, you will introduce the first of these two missing ingredients: the content. First, we will discuss where the content hosted on your Learning Manager account comes from. This can be either off-the-shelf content from third-party libraries or custom content that you upload to the platform yourself.

Then, you’ll switch to the Author role and upload different types of learning content (such as videos, interactive quizzes, Word documents, presentations, etc.) to the Content Library of your ALM account. You will also learn how to upload Job Aids and discuss the difference between regular modules and Job Aids.
