Configuring the Messaging System

As you completed the exercises in the previous chapters, the users you defined in Chapter 5, Managing Users, received a large number of emails from Adobe Learning Manager. In fact, almost every event triggers an email. Managers receive even more messages because in addition to messages about their activities as learners, they also receive messages about the activities of their team members.

This approach is intentional. These messages are designed to extend the reach of the ALM experience and are a starting point for many learner workflows. This is why many organizations pay particular attention to both the visual design and the content of these email communications.
