Routing signal paths for a mix

To prepare a session for an effective mix, you’ll need to consider the routes the audio’s signal paths take. It is rare that all tracks will send their audio to one singular output; even in non-studio scenarios, a lot of routing takes place to offer better control over the mix, and more flexibility when making changes and adjustments. Understanding how and where to set audio paths will take the guesswork out of your mixes and allow you to make more informed decisions on how a mix is performed.
