Data encryption

Many compliance bodies have requirements around data protection and the encryption of data in transit and at rest. In order to satisfy these regulatory requirements, RDS provides you with options to encrypt data while in transit and at rest. You can enable SSL for all the database engines, so that your data is encrypted going into and out of the database, to meet your compliance requirements.
