Summary

Amazon EC2 is a well-known IaaS platform and is widely used by many organizations to satisfy their on-demand computing needs. The EC2 design allows you to Scale-Up and Scale-Down when needed based on the application node and provides the ability to build fault-tolerant and highly available applications. We have seen some of the basic and important tasks that you can do in regard to the EC2 service via PowerShell. In the next chapter, we will deal with the massive object store S3 and learn some of the cmdlets and functionality provided by S3.
