Chapter 3. Business Cooperation in the World of the World Wide Web

The complexity and speed of today's market economy requires the optimization of operations and requires you to consider partnerships in order to gain competitiveness in time and other potential advantages. Since the last century, the way in which we work and how companies operate in the market has changed fundamentally.

In the past, companies used to create, develop, and align their potentials with the organization's mission statement over a specific time (mostly long-term). A company that has more efficient employees simply produced more, enabling the company to gain more profits and reach its targets. This positions the company for success. Today, these factors are still as important.

However, in the past, the main focus of companies was to retain independence and to safeguard their own enterprise and investment. Rarely these independent companies unite to form a cooperation that has a common business goal.
