A UC solution must enable the communication and collaboration of people who are at separate locations. This is necessary because many companies, increasingly, require mobility for employees, so effective communication and collaboration must also be able to take place outside the office environment. Another reason for this mobility is to create a better or more flexible work environment in the company. Many organizations change their model so as to allow home office for certain business areas or divisions.
