Summary


In this chapter, we had a look at some of the eye candy CryENGINE has to offer. We learned about how we can add particle effects and lens flares to our game using the built-in editors and tools. We also took a quick look at some of the performance problems that can arise when too many effects are being used in a scene.

In the next and final chapter of this book, we will discuss the challenges you will face when you are finally ready to ship your game. We will focus on getting your CryENGINE game ready to ship to stores and digital distribution platforms.
