So far, we have created functionalities using the various components that are available through Power Apps and then extended that by using Power Automate. In this chapter, we are going to look at the Microsoft cloud platform, Azure, and how we can start to utilize the power of Azure to perform actions that we wouldn't be able to perform directly through Power Apps.

Due to the nature of Azure, this chapter will feel as though it has a developer-focused feel to it as we start to explore how we can use scripts and code to build functionality for our Power App.
