Chapter 8, Conducting a Portal Audit

  1. A portal audit helps you to identify issues or gaps in the maintenance of data or the current structure of the portal in terms of naming conventions and your inability to find important information.

You should first check that your website is connected to HubSpot. This sometimes gets disconnected if there was a recent website redesign or upgrade. To fix this, you would need to reconnect the domains to HubSpot.

You should start with understanding the missing gaps in your data. In other words, what information is needed for the report to be generated but isn't currently being collected? Also, looking at how properties are built. If most properties are single-line text and not drop-down, then it is harder to pull the information in reports, so these properties would need to be rebuilt.
