In this chapter, we will learn more about YafaRay and render your spacecraft project with it to achieve a photo-real effect from the lighting and materials. Back in the first project, we began using YafaRay to render our first project with an abstract environment called Studio Setup. Now, we will place the flying spacecraft in a space simulating a physical sky. Along with the rendering process of YafaRay, we will learn how to set up the environment and render the methods and materials of YafaRay.
The objective of this chapter is to show all of the steps required to set up a physical sky with YafaRay and make a realistic render with our steampunk spacecraft.
