The best way to remove the noise of the rendered images in LuxRender is to let the refinement run long enough to remove all artifacts from the image. But, there are some projects that require an image to be rendered quickly and can't afford to wait for the render to remove all the noise. With an option called Noise Reduction, we can find a way to filter the noise of an image using a mixture of effects, such as blur, to remove the graininess from the entire image.
This tool won't make the render process any faster, but it can help to create render tests of projects before it's left to render for more time.
To remove the noise, several different adjustments will be necessary depending on that particular project. Knowing each option and parameter well is not enough; we will still have to make changes on the fly to find the best settings for each project.
Select the Enabled checkbox, and tweak the filter with the Iterations, Gaussian Precision, and Amplitude settings.
