With the textures and materials setup completed, we can move on to render the scene in YafaRay. Let's take a look at how YafaRay works. When we call the export script, a few tabs will appear to set up the working of render. Each tab will control the scene in a certain way, from the object settings to the render method.
There are four tabs available:
1. Objects: This tab controls aspects of each object, such as the ability to emit light or different types of cameras or lights. The options change based on the type of object that is selected. For instance, if a camera is selected, we will see options to edit the camera, and a lamp will show options to control the way it will light the scene in YafaRay.
2. Material: The name of this tab is self-explanatory; it controls the materials in the scene. There are several types of materials to choose from.
