Exploring App Studio/Developer Portal

Microsoft Teams App Studio was a low-code tool that enabled users to create custom Teams apps and bots without writing any code – this app was available from Microsoft Teams Store. In February 2022, Microsoft announced that the Microsoft Teams App Studio tool has been deprecated and will no longer be supported. Instead, they recommend developers use the new Teams Developer Portal, which provides more advanced tools and capabilities for building custom Teams apps and bots.

Microsoft Teams App Studio was used to create, package, and distribute custom Teams apps in a very simplified manner using a graphical interface. As Microsoft Teams App Studio was phased out, Developer Portal provides a dedicated app management console available via the web user interface or as a Teams app. All your existing apps created through Microsoft Teams App Studio will also be available in the Developer Portal app.
