The World is Your Visualization

This chapter ties up a few loose ends. It will introduce you to some key Spotfire concepts that we've not covered yet. My aim has been to take you on a journey through analytics and give you the benefit of my real-world experience with the tool. So, now it's time to pull things together a bit.

We'll be covering data relationships, where multiple data tables are related in Spotfire so that you can mark and filter between data tables. We'll also look at showing/hiding data and how to work subsets in order to find comparisons between different subsets of data.

We will visit the topic of annotating visualizations with lines, curves, and forecasts. Finally, we will be covering combination charts, heat maps, and their associated dendrograms, before finishing with parallel coordinate plots.
