Summary

In this chapter, you've learnt how to get started with IronPython scripting and JavaScript scripts within Spotfire text areas. You've also learnt how advanced statistical analysis can be performed using technologies and platforms such as TIBCO Enterprise Runtime for R, open source R, Python, Statistica and others.

We've barely scratched the surface of what's truly possible with Spotfire's immense capabilities with scripting, extensions, embedding analytics in web applications, web services, and advanced statistical analysis. As I stated in the introduction, I could fill a whole book on this topic alone!
