Streaming data

In a lot of cases, static data that's already been generated is analyzed too late. If you're looking at oil well production from yesterday and you notice that a machine broke down partway through the day, it's already too late. If you are monitoring mobile phone outages and can only see what happened last week, it's too late to do anything about the thousands of inconvenienced customers.

The combination of Spotfire and Spotfire Data Streams allows for a real-time visualization of data flowing through any process or system. In order to take advantage of streaming data in Spotfire, you will also need the Spotfire Data Streams software package.
