KNIME and Spotfire

A lot of Spotfire customers use a combination of Konstanz Information Miner (KNIME) and Spotfire to do their advanced data analysis. There is more information available on KNIME here:

KNIME is a workflow tool for data science. It is free, open source software, but the server edition is paid for. KNIME and Spotfire are nicely integrated—you can call a KNIME workflow as a data function using a Spotfire extension that you can purchase from EPAM (a TIBCO partner). TIBCO also provides (via a KNIME update site) Spotfire-specific nodes for KNIME that read and write SBDF files or read data from Spotfire information links.
