Scaling the Infrastructure; Keeping Data up to Date

Chapter 6, The Big Wide World of Spotfire, gave an introduction to the Spotfire Server topology and its intelligent rules for routing and load sharing. Chapter 13, Beyond the Horizon, revisits this topic in more detail. As in Chapter 6, The Big Wide World of Spotfire, this chapter is primarily targeted toward the Spotfire administrator. However, if you are not an administrator, I still recommend that you read this chapter so that you have an understanding of the general concepts and can come back to this for future reference.
