Summary

In this chapter, I shared insights from my years of experience with AC. We took an in-depth look at the Admin Panel, building on what was briefly discussed in Chapter 7.

I showed you how to alter your store’s design right from the Admin Panel, all without the need for any coding! I guided you on how to modify the appearance of products and category pages. Additionally, we discussed how different product types connect to specific layout XML page configuration files.

We also explored how to fine-tune the settings of your product categories for better structuring, and I pointed out some other useful settings that can change your store’s look.

Now that you have completed this chapter, you have a comprehensive understanding of how to modify your online store using just the Admin Panel. Well done!

Chapter 13 will show you how to use Magento’s CMS to easily add and manage the content of your store, such as pages and blog posts.
