Note

Some customers call them ambassadors instead of champions. I prefer the term champions.

How to identify champions

Whenever I explain this adoption methodology to customers, they ask me how to identify, empower, and nurture these champions.

I tell them that identifying champions is easy but making them capable of understanding the platform and then spreading the knowledge requires a lot of training. Most customers do not conduct such extensive training. Therefore, most champion programs do not work very well or for very long!
