Flowcharts with Visio

Do you create flowcharts and process diagrams by assembling shapes from PowerPoint? If yes, stop doing it. Start using Visio. Since September 2021, a powerful diagramming tool, Visio, is a part of Office and Microsoft 365 commercial licenses (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2021/06/09/bringing-visio-to-microsoft-365-diagramming-for-everyone).

Go to Office.com and then All Apps. Look for the Visio icon. This is the lite, web version.

Explore the available templates for diagrams, flowcharts, process diagrams, business matrices, Venn diagrams, cycle diagrams, and pyramid diagrams.

Let's create a flowchart to get going with Visio. Choose Basic Flowchart from the templates and click Create. On the left side, you have a collection of shapes (also called stencils). There are 12 collections, which include Basic Shapes, Flowchart Shapes, Cycle Diagram shapes, Matrix...
