Designing and Prototyping Interfaces with Figma
By :
As stated earlier, the topic of this chapter is quite complex, and the Figma features presented here can be considered advanced. But you've successfully overcome this challenge, and now you know what auto layout is and how it can take your design to a whole new level. You have also learned about two more incredible features – resizing and constraints. Proper use of all three of these makes any layout flexible, responsive, and highly structured. And that's exactly what you did in the hands-on part of this chapter by creating two views for our application – great job!
Obviously, all the other views will also be created using auto layout, so you will practice this function many more times throughout the book to discover even more incredible design options. The learning process will become even more effective if you experiment from time to time with different automatic layout properties and elements in drafts.
