If you have an existing non-responsive course created using Captivate 8 or 9, you can convert it to a responsive course in Captivate 2017. This will allow you to repurpose the static courses into responsive ones, and this will save you from spending hours converting the course to responsive from scratch.
Let's see an example of converting a non-responsive course to a responsive one.
- Start Captivate 2017. If you already have the Captivate application open, close all the open projects so that you have the Welcome screen visible.
- On the Welcome screen, click the Sample Projects/Tutorialsicon.
- Select the Captivate9_eLearning thumbnail and click Open.
- This opens Captivate9_eLearning course in Captivate. It is a non-responsive course built using Captivate 9.
- To convert this course to responsive, click File | Save as Responsive...
