When starting a new eLearning project, you may be tempted to jump right into Captivate and start adding slides to your course. You learned in Chapter 1, Getting Started with Adobe Captivate, that you should extensively research your topic and design the pedagogical approach of your course before opening Captivate for the first time. Starting your course without this understanding may frustrate you and waste a lot of your time. We cannot stress this enough. Captivate is a tool for teaching stuff to people.
