Responsive capture

Responsive projects were first introduced in Adobe Captivate 8. It allows you to adapt the content and the layout of your Captivate project for different device sizes.

When it comes to screen capture, the responsive projects allow you to capture static screenshots and to pan to the relevant area which contains the highlight box or click box. The exact procedure is as follows:

  1. Restart AME to reset the user interface.
  2. Delete all the .mp4 files present in the videos/MOV folder of the exercise.
  3. Return to Captivate and close any open files, so that you see the Welcome screen.
  4. Double click the Responsive Project thumbnail on the New tab of the Welcome screen. You can also use the File | New Project | Responsive Project menu item.
