Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 is a service that provides AI-powered productivity capabilities by connecting LLMs to your organizational data and Microsoft 365 apps. This section briefly discusses how Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 uses, protects, and stores your data, and how it meets regulatory compliance requirements:
- Data usage: Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 accesses content and context through Microsoft Graph, such as emails, chats, and documents that you have permission to access. It can generate responses anchored in your organizational data, as well as public web content and third-party plugins, if enabled by admins and users. Prompts, responses, and data accessed through Microsoft Graph aren’t used to train foundation LLMs, including those used by Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365.
