When I was designing the level concept for this game demo, I thought it would be better to have something to break the singularity of having only one type of hue in the level due to the fact that in an underground setting, there aren't many props that we can place to the level beside rocks. Well, we can place crystals all over the level, which will emit different colors of light, but that sounds like a lazy solution to me; besides, aren't most other games out there doing the same thing? I thought we could go for something different, so instead of shiny crystals, I decided to place a bunch of grass around the level instead.
First of all, grass can still grow underground provided that there are holes on the ceiling that allow the sunlight to enter underground.
