Introducing the Settings area

Just like any other platform, Dynamics 365 requires constant care and attention. An administrator of the system is tasked with monitoring the system, analyzing its performance, and intervening where necessary to make improvements.

In a standard, out-of-the-box configuration, all the system management options are collected in the Settings page. You can reach this from the Apps screen or from within any of the applications by navigating to the cog icon on the top-right of the screen and selecting the Advanced Settings option from the dropdown, as shown in the following screenshot:
