At this point, it is assumed that your 30-day trial of Dynamics 365 for Sales is up and running and you can easily follow and execute the concepts described in this book.

In this chapter, we're shifting our focus to the platform structure. There have been some changes with the move to Dynamics 365. Where before, in Dynamics CRM, we used to have one complete monolithic application that included Sales, Service, and Marketing, the updated platform now follows a more modular model.
