Technical requirements

Several sections in this chapter will be dealing with sculptures that have an extremely high polycount (between 3 and 12 million triangles). It is important to have a lot of memory (at least 1.5 GB) and CPU processing power available so that the sculpting tools can work smoothly. It is highly recommended that you close other applications on your computer to free up resources for Blender. Web browsers such as Google Chrome are infamous for utilizing a large amount of your computer's available memory; try to close as many tabs as possible to free up memory for sculpting in Blender.
