Exporting documents for professional print
There are so many things to account for when outputting your artwork for hand-off to a print bureau. Managing the output process for this option is far more critical than output to the web, as mistakes here often cost time and money.
Exporting to Adobe PDF
By far the most flexible format to pass onto a third-party print provider, PDF has been the industry standard for many years. It preserves vector shapes and text layers:
- With the
Zfold-Inner-01.psd
document open, go to File → Save to ensure the master file (PSD) captures the latest edits. Then go to File → Save a Copy and choose Photoshop PDF from the format menu. Change the file name toTrifold-ProPRINT
and browse to the05-Print
