Understanding which view to use and when

New users of Project are often overwhelmed and at a loss to decide which view is used when. This is because there are a lot of views available at your fingertips. You can follow a simple two-step process that you can use in any situation to always choose the perfect view:

  1. Identify the entity that you want to work with—tasks, resources, or assignments.
  2. The second step is to identify the suitable display formats that we discussed in the preceding Display formats used in views section.

    With these two steps, you can work with a precise view that is catered to your specific needs.
