In this chapter, we learned about CRM as it relates to SAP Business ONE. We began with historical reasons for an integrated CRM. We then continued to position sales-related activities as part of an integrated enterprise workflow. Touch point analysis was used to identify the areas in your company that contribute to sales directly and indirectly.
Based on this information, we developed the 360 +ONE sales strategy and implemented the core aspects using SAP Business ONE.
As a result, you can clearly see the benefits of an integrated system. It is not only technology that is important, but also the way it is utilized to trigger workflows in order to improve the customer's experience. The example workflow we implemented helped to overcome all of the shortcomings introduced in the example mentioned at the beginning of the chapter.
