So far we have learnt about user interface, user administration and databases, and how application scopes work. Now we will learn how to create modules, and customize forms and views.

ServiceNow applications are data oriented, which is why the ServiceNow platform offers us various ways to present data to end users by creating various kind of modules, which are accessible through navigational links available under each application menu in the left navigation pane. It also offers tools to modify the layout of forms and add various types of form field elements to the form. It enables us to present data to end-users in an efficient and easily understandable manner. Forms have the capability to present the same records to end-users in a different manner based on their role or other policies.
