A group of products may have the same basic properties, with a number of specific variations. This recipe provides details of Sales Orders for Matrix Items, including the steps of how to enter a Sales Order for Matrix Items.

Getting ready

You should set up the Matrix Items in the Inventory Management system in order to enter the Sales Order for Matrix Items.

How to do it...

  1. 1. Access the Sales Order from the Sales Order Detail (G4211) menu.

  2. 2. On the Customer Service Inquiry page, click on Add and add a line for the Matrix Item, and then click on OK. On the Matrix Order Entry form, select the row for each item, and enter the quantity for each product variation.

  3. 3. Enter an order for a product with the required variations.
