Introducing the Creators of Intelligence
When you tell someone that you’re writing a book, the first (and most obvious) question you’re asked is, “What is the book about?” Sometimes, however, you get asked an even more important question: “Why are you writing it?”
For me, the why was an evolution, rather than an inspiration that hit me like a lightning bolt. Some common themes began to emerge from the topics that I was asked to speak about at conferences and industry events. I started writing a blog to address these themes. The blog was also a fun way to share my learning, and to offer advice to the next generation of data scientists and those transitioning to the field. I subsequently launched my consulting business, and again, there were common themes in the challenges faced by my clients in their journey to unlock the value of their data, and in maturing their analytics capability.
This prompted me to consider writing a book to share...
