Creating a television screen in Adobe Substance Painter

In the previous section, we used some tips and tricks to create LED lights. In this section, we will go a little further and create a TV screen:

  1. Select TV_Front_Casing from TEXTURE SET LIST. After selecting TV_Front_Casing, go to the LAYERS panel and select Add fill layer. Once the fill layer is added, rename it TV Screen. Under the PROPERTIES - FILL panel, scroll down to Base color and change the color to the following values:
    • R: 0.166
    • G: 0.170
    • B: 0.133
    • H: 0.186
    • S: 0.216
    • V: 0.170
  2. Then, scroll even more till you see Roughness and Metallic. Change the Roughness value to 0.05335 and the Metallic value to 0.0617:

After creating the TV Screen fill layer, note that the new fill layer is applied to the whole TV_Front_Casing Texture Set:
