Chapter 6 – Managing the Calendars

  1. The two calendars on the left side of the Navigation pane are a way to navigate and select days you want to view in the main Calendar window. You can use the arrows to navigate to other months. When you change the month of the calendar, the other calendar will change as well. You can also click on a date in these calendars to navigate to that date in your main Calendar window or even select two or more dates (by holding down the Ctrl key) to compare them side by side. This is a very useful tool that many users do not use because they don’t know about its power.
  2. Click File | Options | Calendar | Calendar Options, then uncheck the Default reminders box; you can change the reminder time here as well.
  3. Yes, click View | To-Do Bar | Check To-Do. This will add the calendar to the To-Do Bar, which will appear on the right side of the calendar.
