During the process for creating the Pooled VM collection, you've seen that the process to create both collection types will start with the same wizard. The differences will start on the following screen:

In the preceding screen, select Personal virtual desktop collection and click on Next >. Ensure that Automatically create and manage virtual desktops is checked.

In the following screenshot, you have the option to choose whether VMs will be created for users once they log on to the RD Web Access website and request access to a VM on the collection, or whether VMs will be manually created. If you want to automate the process, select Enable automatic user assignment. Keep in mind that, if you have a high number of users and this option is selected, you will see a large number of VMs on your environment and you will need to provide the necessary resources.
