In this chapter, you were able to have a comprehensive understanding of the Hyper-V networking capabilities. You saw how the Hyper-V Virtual Switch works, how the Private, Internal and External configurations work, and how to connect a VM to the Virtual Switch.
We covered advanced aspects of networking on the host machine with NIC Teaming and multiple ways of implementing it. Then, we changed gear to understand how the VM is impacted with network features.
To finish, we provided some additional content to be aware of when administrating a Hyper-V environment. In the next chapter, we will focus on storage and networking, its impact on the performance and features for the host and VMs.
