Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to determine the various approaches for moving Domain Controllers to Windows Server 2022. We reviewed how to use the Active Directory Migration Tool to migrate Active Directory objects such as users, groups, and Group Policy objects. We also reviewed how to migrate Active Directory objects to a new Active Directory forest. Finally, we covered best practices on how to successfully upgrade an existing forest to Windows Server 2022 to achieve skills consistent with the AZ-801 exam objectives.
