Managing Disk Encryption keys for IaaS VMs

Earlier in this chapter, we completed the lab setup in our Azure tenant to establish a resource group, an Azure Key Vault, and two Azure VMs. Let’s begin with this walkthrough of managing disk encryption keys by completing the following tutorial steps:

  1. To begin, visit https://portal.azure.com utilizing your Global Administrator account created in Chapter 1, Exam Overview and the Current State of Cloud Workflows.
  2. Open a new browser tab and search for whats my ip, then record your public IP address for later use, and close this open browser tab.
  3. Select Key vaults from the list of Azure services or simply search for Key vaults and select it to continue.
  4. Use the Settings section, select Networking, then add your public IP address under theIP address or CIDR section, and select Save to commit the change.
