Dates

Although we’ve been through card changes, did you know there are still so many more changes that can happen to a card? Let’s tackle dates in this section—specifically, start and due dates (we’ll get more into custom field dates later in this chapter).

Date triggers are when something changes with the due or start date on a card. There are a couple of different options here, but you’ll notice there’s nothing for when a card is due. We’ll cover those triggers in Chapter 10, when we talk about date-based automation. But for now, we’re sticking with the automation triggers available under the Rules section.
