Advanced view formatting

List view formatting is used to customize how list or library items are displayed. With advanced formatting, it’s possible to change the layout and style of items using HTML and CSS. Advanced view formatting uses similar JSON patterns as advanced column formatting. View formatting supports list, gallery, board and calendar layouts and customization of item groupings.

Highlighting rows based on a condition using predefined SharePoint Online styles can be achieved using additionalRowClass attribute, for example highlighting rows based on Status column can be done like example below:
