Aggregating content using web parts

SharePoint Online offers a range of web parts for aggregating pages, news, documents, list items, events, and sites to a page. The source for aggregated content can be set as the current site, from all sites linked to a hub site, pre-selected sites, or recommended for the user. The recommended selection will aggregate content from users the current user is working with, the top 20 sites the user is following, and the most recently visited sites. Options vary between different web parts. Each web part also includes different layout options for viewing aggregated content items. When content is aggregated from other sites, queries are made against the search index, which is not updated in real time, and it may take some minutes to see recently added items.
