Centrally managing and publishing content types and site columns

The Content Type Gallery hosts centrally managed content types and site columns. The Content Type Gallery can be accessed from the SharePoint Admin Center in the Content services section. The user experience is similar to the site content type gallery; the only difference is the publishing of content types. The Content Type Gallery itself lives on a special SharePoint site that can be found at https://<your-tenant>.sharepoint.com/sites/contenttypehub. Don’t use this site for anything other than content-type publishing.

Publishing a content type

Once the content type is ready, including all necessary site columns and settings, it can be published by clicking Publish from the content type toolbar. The first time, the content type can be just published:
