Getting used to the toolbar

We'll start by exploring the top toolbar – this is where you'll find all of Figma's basic tools and settings. For the most commonly used basic tools, try to learn as many shortcuts as possible right from the beginning. It will greatly improve your workflow!

Main tools

Figma divides its core tools into several sections, all of which you can see in the top bar. You will get an overview of all the sections in order, from left to right, and start by exploring the main set of features.
