Summary

This chapter was full of information and practical guides for designing our project. Some of the steps were already familiar to you – for example, adding a new layer to a frame, setting up auto layout, and changing properties of elements according to styles. But at the same time, there has been a lot of new information to take in about possibly the most difficult subject on your journey. As always, don’t worry if you feel overwhelmed – components and variants are huge, very complex topics, and no one really masters them right away!

It was a rich chapter, and you not only learned about components and variants but also greatly advanced our project by building the Home and Content Detail views – the most important screens of the application – using all the advanced features that you learned about in the previous chapters and this one. Also, now you know how to work with the library and even how to publish it for use in other team files....
