Summary
In this chapter, you created a prototype of your first multiplayer game and gained knowledge about synchronizing Actors and variables across the network. Moreover, you started testing the prototype through the UE system, which emulates multiple connections concurrently, and achieved all this through the use of Blueprints.
However, moving forward, you will transition to using the C++ programming language, which may seem a little daunting, but I assure you that I will strive to make this shift as effortless as possible!
It’s time to leave your prototype to its destiny... we have more important things to do! In the next chapter, you’ll start creating a game from scratch. You will develop it in C++ with all the advantages that come with this kind of development.
